301 miles from London

I was back on my travels again today. I set out from my house at 05:30am to catch the first train from Waverley to Manchester. There I spent the day with external colleagues on preparations for the next UK research assessment exercise in 2021.

I'm staying the weekend at my parents' house with Mr hazelh and my not-so-little sister, so this evening I took two trains on my return journey - first to Carlisle, then to Haydon Bridge. While I waited for my second train I roosted in 301 miles from London, where I admired the lighting and vaulted ceiling, as blipped.

I reached 'home' just after 21:00.

Exercise today: minimal walking (9,686 steps).
