Loch Venachar

The forecast was for a bright sunny day so we set off early-ish for a walk along the Invertrossachs Road beside Loch Venachar. It's one of the best walks as far as I'm concerned. There were three yachts out on the water (extra), a good few anglers, walkers, runners and cyclists. The trees looked wonderful. What great autumn weather we've had.

After a decent walk we stopped in Callander for lunch. Always busy so not really a place to linger but you can't turn up your nose at a dog friendly cafe which has a good gluten free menu.

Back home and half an hour of sweeping up and cutting back in the garden before the sun left it altogether. But I reckon that's it for today. Well exercised, fed and watered. I might settle down with the paper if I can stand it.
