Early start to collect William from George. He seemed tired.

Len fitted the car seat and we all, including Basil, headed off to Loughborough where I had a follow up appointment with the knee surgeon.

Trouble started when Basil, as is his wont in the car, began to bark. That really upset William who howled.

Len took W and B for a walk in the park. The surgeon was very pleased with my progress and discharged me but was not at all pleased to hear about my difficulties immediately after discharge from hospital.

Back home, W settled and finally fell asleep on me, which is when I grabbed this shot with the phone.
