An ordinary life....

Auntie Agnes doesn't share food!  hahahahahaha!

Despite not getting to bed till the wee small hours, Agnes and I miraculously made it downstairs by the crack of 11am!  :-))

Tea and toast and more chat.

We tidied up the breakfast dishes and had just settled in the garden room with tea and a scone when the peace was shattered....Lola returned!  She'd had a great time at R's but was hyper at being home.  Little madam ran past me and went straight to her Auntie Agnes for cuddles!!  Or perhaps maybe it was the scone that attracted her.  As you can see, she certainly did her best to persuade Agnes to share some of her delicious scone but Agnes has a will of steel and resisted Lola's not so subtle begging body language.  I did give her a couple of treats to stop her slobbering Lola that is, not Agnes.

More chatting followed, planning our few days together at the beginning of December when she and Adrian are coming up to stay for a few days and we are all going away for a couple of nights.  We had just finished lunch when David returned home, tired and happy and with aching legs!  Luckily I had made extra sandwiches and there was some homemade soup left too, so he quickly tucked into that.

Agnes was just getting ready to leave when Carole arrived.  She was here to give Lola a trim.  Lola was very pleased to see her too.  What an afternoon she had...her dad home, Auntie Agnes here and seeing her first human mum too.  She looked even more gorgeous when Carole had finished trimming and grooming her but I couldn't get a decent photo of her as she was exhausted and crashed out beside D on the sofa!

A lazy evening was all we were fit for.

D and Lola back home...all is right in the word again.
