Lights at the Lamb

Ashby de la Zouch is getting ready for its Christmas Fair next week. The Lamb pub has already put its tree out, but no decs inside yet.

Len and Basil retreated in there while I rushed to the Chiropody clinic round the corner to ease my poor big toes. I'd had them done three weeks ago but they were giving me gip. I phoned and managed to get a late appointment at 5 pm.

Kath did a marvellous job of sorting them out. I joined the chaps in the pub. They don't stint on portions in there. Len had had a huge panini and Basil was given far too many biscuits.

I had a Skinny beer which purported to be gluten free but actually contained barley, a No No.

A day of admin followed by an evening of being a couch potato.
