Dressing the Tree

There's little that calms better than a walk in the woods; it's almost impossible to hold onto stress or anger amidst the standing folk and the whole living woodland.

As we approach commercialmas the simplicity of the forest appeals more than the overhyped, over populated shopping centre full of over-priced tatt, and my bah humbug can rest easy. For a while.

This fellow was displaying his tremendous array of green and white mistletoe against the blankness of the sky, and it almost looked like he had his own green tree of his own, bespeckled with tiny white baubles.

You can see why the old Druids favoured the plant so much...

Down the road aways I caught sight of this tiny dragon, holding onto the roof finial and looking down on passing pedestrians (ie, me). The old dragon's recommendation is, when you're right, apologise twice.
