Flower Friday - The Lit Lantern

Time for the monthly pond pump and filter clean, oh joy. The heron visited this week, and left big and bloody footprints all along the edging of the pond. I've not done a full census but I dare say one of our koi is missing.

The small Chinese Lantern Plant at the edge of the pond is now beginning to show its colour. How lovely if we could fit them with solar LEDs!

It's Black Friday, so that's a good excuse to not buy anything at all, all day long. Doesn't stop the Amazon parcels turning up though. I'm waiting for a replacement tuner peg for my acoustic bass, which had a poorly moment earlier this week.
