Chatsworth

Visiting friends late afternoon, so we decided to call in at Chatsworth for a walk on the way.

I hadn't appreciated how the pre-Christmas season works. We found ourselves in a big queue, so paid the Christmas parking rate of £20.00. There was just a sea of parking around the house, lots of people visiting the Christmas market, the house and the garden. 

Best just to accept that's how it is, rather than constantly repeating "bah humbug", which is my default position until December. It must all be a massive money spinner. 

The gardens were still good, even at this time of the year.
