Compton Verney

We went to Compton Verney to see the Whistler exhibition currently showing.  There was a surprising lot of work on display, mainly etchings, some very small, covering his time in London,  Paris and Venice. His most famous painting, that of his mother, stayed in the gallery in Paris which we visited many, many years ago.

We had lunch and a drink before viewing the pictures and went for a walk in the grounds afterwards.  I didn't find any flowers for Flower Friday so here's a tree and arty rock instead.
