Mushroom mix

I blipped our Shiitaki mushroom kit here, but we also bought a button mushroom kit at the same time and, while the Shiitakes seem to have almost finished, the buttons have really come into their own.

While I was in the UK Steve had made two litres of delicious mushroom soup, and then he'd begun slicing and freezing more of the surplus. And then the day before yesterday, just to add to our mushroom pile, a friend passed on to me a tray of wild mushrooms she'd been given but she and her husband weren't keen on them!

This morning was mushroom action day and I've lightly fried all three types up together, and bagged and frozen them ready for future mushroom risottos. Lovely!
