Just before the sun finally disappeared

A very wet start to the day, which was much better by lunchtime.  As I needed to drive up to the Post Office I thought I’d stop for a short walk in the wood on the way home.  I was just in time to catch the last of the sunlight before it disappeared behind a cloud.  The leaves on the beech seedling were getting very blown about by the wind but you hardly see this here because of the very high ISO setting - a setting I hadn’t checked before I started taking photos.  Still it hasn’t come out too badly.

I remembered to take a camera but forgot binoculars, which is a shame because a flock of Brambling were still there in the wood and flew before me, with their white backs flashing) as I walked.
