Pictorial blethers

Sunlit glen

Well, this makes a change! A strange day involving mutual appraisals with all the tensions implied in that, an afternoon with Mr PB and the car away at an appointment and the arrival of the Posada arranged for late afternoon meant that I wasn't going to be walking in the gloaming for once. Instead, my bestie and I took ourselves off, having bade farewell to Bishop and assorted companions, and walked briskly round the appropriately-named Bishop's Glen in the bright sunlight of early afternoon.

The brown grass was a wonderfully warm colour, the sky a vivid blue; the paths were utterly sodden. But this little section at the top of a hill was dry and gravelly, and I was being annoying, breaking off every few moments to take photos.

And tonight, limbo - waiting for the results of today's encounters. And then the rain will return...
