Gardens Aglow

Dear Diary,

Rebecca and I drove north to Boothbay Harbor, Maine (about 2 hours from my house) to see the Maine Botanical Gardens Festival of lights. It was just amazing. Temperatures hovered around 20F but it was worth the chill to see the jaw-dropping display. The lights reflected of the frozen water in beautiful ways.

I’ve added an extra from the garden and one of the Tugboat Restaurant where we had dinner afterwards. Then, we were treated to an incredible fireworks display which we could watch from our hotel window that looked out over the harbor. An unforgettable night.
