Gently down the stream

Playin' in the rain

Today was definitely music day in town.  So many people playing carols you simply walked from one soundscape to the next without any gap between.  I saw a friend with her ukelele group playing Jingle Bells, a trio on the corner just ending their last before lunchbreak, and to my utter delight the Wayneflete Singers were rehearsing in the Cathedral for their concert tonight, which seemed to consist mainly of Handel and opened with Zadok the Priest.  Wonderful!

This instumental group were playing just outside the Cathedral Close when it came on to rain.  Rather soaking rain at that.  The girl is laughing because she couldn't read her wet music through her wet specs.  Perhaps rather good for #SillySaturday.  (Very many thanks to Admirer for hosting).

Happy Saturday evening  xx
