Three hills

Up to the Common with MrM this afternoon with the intention of finding a suitable spot to plant out our little Christmas tree. We bought it as a very cheap pot-grown plant 3 years ago, and it's outgrown the space available in the flat (and it's a bit too scrawny to pass it on to anyone else as a Christmas tree!). The first walk for a while, and my legs felt like lead as we walked past Kettles Fort and up through the woods, but it was good to get out.

Planting site identified, we continued up on a short stretch of St Cuthbert's Way, and back down to the Common. A good view over to Gains Law, Coldberry Hill and Humbleton as we reached the highest point.
