It’s not going to be a White Christmas

By the time our guests had gone and the debris from dinner cleared, washed up and put away it was getting on for 1.00am. No time to be blipping.

I also had a haircut at 8.45 in the morning with a bike ride followed by the gym. Such is the pace of life for retirees.

It was the annual get together of a group of former walkers who were colleagues when I was at Gillingham between 1995-2000 who have remained friends. There were 10 of us. Shepherds Pie, mashed swede and carrots, peas, sticky apple cake and mince pies, cheese and biscuits in case you’re interested.

On our walk this morning we called in at Doreen’s to collect the final cards for posting. This jolly chap brightened the day.
