Hopefully not much longer

The pool has been closed for maintenance which would have been frustrating if I was able to swim.  It won't be before I see the consultant on 10th January.

This morning the mood in the office was dreadful.  You would never have guessed we were about to finish for Christmas.  We had a quickly arranged meeting with our site director this afternoon and he spoke for 90 minutes.  He was brilliant, and although it sounds cliched showed real leadership.  He explained how we had ended up where we are, what is being done, the four scenarios that might happen, and the timing.  The union are now involved which helps our case.  We have to do the best jobs we can to help as much as we can.  Time will tell.
