Nadolig Cartref

Nadolig Cartref ~ Homemade Christmas

————— ————— ————— ————— ————— ————— —————

Codais i yn gynnar yn y bore i fynd i redeg.  Roedd rhaid i mi aros tan stopiodd y glaw - doeddwn i ddim eisiau gwlychu os gallwn i ei osgoi. Y tro hwn es i am y cyclch hir ac roeddwn i'n gallu cwblhau'r 5k yn llawn am y tro cyntaf.  Roeddwn i'n hapus hapus i allu gwneud hynny.

Ar öl brecwast aethon ni allawn i casglu'r twrci a ychydig o bethau eraill. Roedd tesco yn gosteg, gosteg cyn y storm, efallai. Yna aethon ni i B&Q, yn chwilio fel gwarchod tân, oherwydd y byddwn ni cael plentyn bach yn rhedeg o gwmpas y tŷ ar ddiwrnod y Nadolig.  Roedd dyma'r olaf o'r siopa i ni cyn y Nadolig.

Treulion ni'r prynhawn yn y cegin.  Roedd Nor'dzin yn gwneud tartenni Nadolig ac reoeddwn i yn gwneud marsipan ac eisin caled (yr ddau am y tro cyntaf).

Does dim byd gwell na bwyd cartef, a Nadolig cartref, os oes amser gyda chi.

I got up early in the morning to run. I had to wait until the rain stopped - I did not want to wet if it was possible to avoid it. This time I went for the long circle and I was able to complete the full 5k for the first time. I was happy to be able to do that.

After breakfast we went out to collect the turkey and a few other things. Tesco was calm, calm before the storm perhaps. Then we went to B & Q, looking for a fire  guard, because we would have a little child running around the house on Christmas day. This was the last of our shopping before Christmas.

We spent the afternoon in the kitchen. Nor'dzin made mince pies and I made marsipan and royal icing (both for the first time).

There's nothing better than homemade food, and a homemade Christmas,  if you have time.
