Gym Rings

Aperture priority mode is not working! I tried to experiment with it today, following the directions from a book, but the results were frustrating. Whatever setting I am using is just changing the shutter speed. Since I couldn't figure out how to use the aperture setting I explored the other settings. This is a miniature setting crop. Tomorrow I need to find a youtube how to set aperture for this camera.
