NYC Sun and Shadows ...

... on Columbus Avenue at about 108th Street, at 14:30 after lunch with our friends Marge and Steve.  We went on to an excellent exhibition at Columbia University's Wallach Art Gallery:  Posing Modernity: The Black Model from Manet to Matisse to Today. It illustrates how in the mid 19th century French Artists began using black persons as models, in various media, moving on to the U.S. in the 20th century. It will move to the D'Orsay Museum in Paris, adding 200 works! We'll be able to see it there.
