Going home for Christmas

Christmas Eve - stopped by Cameron Toll (forgetting I couldn't buy alcohol till after 10) for a bottle of wine for tomorrow.

The office was busier than I expected but only 3 of us stayed after lousin' time at 12.30, mainly to answer the last minute phone calls offering turkeys, clothes or to volunteer.  Sadly we had to say 'no' to all these offers.  It feels odd to be approaching Crisis at Christmas and not to be 'in the thick of it', but best really.  Part of handing over.

In past the flat on the way home to drop of presents and the wine and then the Manor to deliver presents.  Tomorrow I will be taxiing.

The office looked very quiet as I left at 4.

Happy Christmas!
