Capital adventures

'Twas the night before Christmas....

...well the afternoon. A message from Kiki while I was still in bed led to a 'ladies who lunch' trip to Sunway Pyramid. That was after another 35 minute swim (don't seem to be able to reach 40 without a timepiece) and an hour tidying out the girls' wardrobe, which their mum doesn't use anyway.

Odd how frequently I get into cars driven by strange men but both MyCar drivers were good today. At Sunway Pyramid, another huge Mall, built on the site of a tin mine we met Kiki and her daughter Sharon for lunch, and ice cream. I went to M&S for what I normally buy in M&S and there was also a look at the Christmas 'market' and the lagoon. However, in one of the open areas the red lanterns are already up. Come the end of the week Christmas will have gone and Chinese New Year (4 weeks away) will be with us.

Came home to watch TV, eat a mince pie, watch a movie and eat the traditional Christmas Eve Nando's take away.

Now the girls are in bed (though not asleep), the stockings are up, there are piles of presents under the tree and the mince pie and whisky are out for Santa and the milk and apple (no carrot was bought) are ready for the reindeer, who land on the balcony, where else?

Happy Christmas blip buddies whichever country and hemisphere you are in.
