I was fully expecting to find a blip to contribute to JohnEdward’s Mono Monday theme of SET. The glorious day made the theme even more challenging, the clarity and colours didn’t lend themselves to mono.

Then we came across the tree in the Bearsted Woodland Trust. One of many trees decorated by those who donated them. This one was very poignant as it was in memory of George Wilson who died in 2012 at only 14 months old. Such sadness which has been echoed in many blips I’ve read today, those who’ve died or received devastating news recently.

Anyway, we’re all ready. Veg peeled and prepped for tomorrow, Susan out in the garden enjoying the late afternoon. Dinner cooking. Going to the midnight service later. Let Christmas begin, but let’s also remember all those who’s Christmas will not be the joyful occasion we all expect.
