Christmas Eve

Once again I'm all behind! Mostly occupied with Christmas preparations and shenanigans, not helped by a fighting off a low-grade virus. Today's been mostly about cooking, preparing our first Christmas dinner, shared this evening with Ben's girlfriend - a wonderfully convivial occasion. 

I managed to escape for twenty minutes or so at dusk, just in time to watch the mist rising over the Rowing Lake - a much needed period of quiet contemplation among the festivities.
