A Day Worth Recording

Re-use

Tonight the great-value-low-mileage-compact-limo was taken away by it's new owners.

Mixed feelings really. This was Mum's last car and has given two of my sons their first driving freedom, and is, bluntly, a lot more fun to drive than the bus. On the other hand it drips oil, desperately needs a service, and is too small for son No.3.

I might celebrate by seeing if I can squeeze the bus into the garage - beats chipping ice off the windscreen in the morning.

Garage nerds may be eyeing up the jars with envy. No, we don't get through industrial quantities of mayonnaise, but the village sandwich shop did and they kindly kept the jars for me. They are perfect for junk storing valuable assets. Sadly, that shop is now fallen to the plague of estate agents.

Update. S cooked a humongous pasta bake tonight. It was just going to be pasta but the buyers were a bit late so he switched to a bake. Serves six. We were three. Fl'up.

Bus is in the garage, yea!
