Lights, camera, no action

We awoke to find find lacy, lazy trails of mist and nascent fog hanging around the smooth sweep of the Orphir skyline. The lightly swishing mist has rippled all day with no wind to stir it. A thin grey veil has been drawn over the Hoy Hills.

Out to Kirwall folk for a Boxing Day lunch. Later we retreated to Stromness where every square inch of the Pierhead was moist but mild.
