Colmers Hill

Yet again I was awake far too early. It was raining again, so I read my book, though TT did go for a run.  BB wanted pizza for lunch today, so we drove to Bridport, parked the car and then walked to West Bay (Broadchurch!) to his café of choice.  We got a table and chose what we wanted, only to be told the pizza oven wasn’t working today as it was being serviced.  Disaster – and three very disappointed people.  We had to re-look a the menu and make alternate choices.  We were not disappointed with what we ordered, but BB was still very disappointed not to get pizza.  We had a post-lunch wander t hen headed back to Bridport.

BB’s other request was to go to the toyshop, so I left hem there and headed to the wonderful bakers for a  few bits and pieces. We met up and headed to the supermarket.

My choice for the day was to go up Colmers Hill, just outside Bridport – so we managed to fir that in before heading home.  It’s more of a mound with a few trees at the top – than a hill.  The views from the top weren’t as good as they might have been, as it has been so overcast all day.  Couldn’t resist the extra – a ghost sign in Bridport.
