ROYAL OAK, LINDALE

A pleasant morning at Beetham Nurseries meeting a great friend and catching up on things.  Some of you may know her as "Gladder's Wife"??  Anyway we had a lovely long chat over coffee and crumpets/scones.  Then my Hubby and Mum joined us, so we stayed longer than we should have (2 hours).  We were just going to go home, but made a detour at Lindale unexpectedly and Mum, Hubby and I went to the Royal Oak at Lindale for Lunch.  Have only been once before.  The food is excellent and very nice surroundings so we will go back.

Photo is the decoration in the wall next to the table we sat at.  There is an extra of Mum celebrating New Year's Eve early as she won't be able to stay up past 10 pm on the evening - well that' the excuse anyway.
