It’s a dog’s life

Visiting J’s sister, brother in law and our youngest niece over the last couple of days. We’ve had a good time.

Henry the beagle is a focus of family life. He spends a lot of the time snoozing or asleep, so this is a typical pose.

He enjoys his walks. There are so many smells to enjoy in the countryside.

Late morning we travelled to Kingsbury water park, a huge complex of lakes and pools - restored gravel pits - which surround the River Tame between the Birmingham conurbation and Tamworth. Used for all sorts of water activities, and very good for wildlife. A massive network of paths, we had a good walk and then our hosts returned home and we headed for the M6 and our own home.
