John Williams-a-thon

Hearty breakfast. Walk from Hanbury Hall (extra) to a church on a hill - the ground everywhere is really boggy, we should have brought wellies. Meal at Brindley Place. Then a concert at Symphony Hall, an evening of John Williams’s film music. The blip is an encore - Anthony Inglis, the conductor, appeared as a Jedi. That is Darth Vador on stage, tapping his toes.

John Williams skill as a film composer always impresses. Maybe I ought to see the Star Wars movies which followed the first, I somehow have never got beyond that first movie.
