Recital Day.....

Costumes to be taken in, make up to be applied, tights of various kinds to be purchased, so much fun and lots of anticipation!

I love Christmas dance recitals, love the music, atmosphere, lighting and of course being entertained by the talented dancers. Theres so many 'Awww's' from the audience as little 5 year olds come onto the stage dressed as frogs, or in cute little tutus as fairies, some looking quite shy and others thoroughly enjoying the moment. Then the grace and beauty of the older dancers as they dance with emotion with beautiful arms, a varying range of tutus, some short and others long and flowing. Ballet, jazz, contempary, hip hop - we saw it all tonight at Daughter's E's dance recital and thoroughly enjoyed it!!

Just popping in and will catch up with backblips at a later date - busy times with dance recitals and Daughter A is home for a few days, we've been enjoying some great family time.
