Park Wood

My first venture out orienteering since the new hip. I could see there was a wide path going through the woods and reckoned if I stayed close to it I wouldn't fall. Then son R assured me a small group of 4 "off road" controls would be safe to find so bravely set off with one crutch and one walking pole into the undergrowth to find them.  Can you believe I was not last, was there really someone out there slower than me!!! This is the Finish control looking back down the path to the farm at Abbot Park which has a tea room and had laid on lots and lots of extra food and cake for us all. It would have been churlish not to support their efforts.
