Co-incidence at Craigendive

Last year on this day I blipped a picture of Cragendive farm house beside Loch Striven, which had just been done up after a long period of being empty.   There was a story to it which I also told as well as celebrating 7 years of continuous blipping on that day.

Today I celebrate 8 eight years of continuous blipping - all of 2922 days.   I started on Hogmanay 2010 with the hope that I might keep it going for a year.  Then I thought I might record a whole Parliament.   Now I hope I might record two.

And - by the type of co-incidence that I often see in small communities - my blip today is from the same place (if you look at last year’s picture you can just see the triangular window ) because when I hoped last year that someone would rent it and be happy in it, it turned out that two friends of ours did just that in April.

This afternoon Annie and Pete had a whole group of us around for a late lunch , giving me the chance to see inside after all these years (though Cathleen recalled having been inside when Iain Paterson was in residence, and him using the tea pot to pour whisky).

It also gave me the chance to take some pictures, the best of which is my blip though I have also posted an extra one of the view from the lovely living room and one of their cat Peggy inside it.

Last year I also mentioned the kitchen at Ardachuple.   That alas was my blip last Monday but now burnt to the ground, giving another reflection on the close knit nature of the community in which I live.
