Rubislaw Church

Waking up today I found a white world, and in the morning there were several mare snow falls. In total probably about an inch, not very much, but enough to turn the pavements into a slushy mess. While waiting to cross the road I saw one young woman land flat on her face, fortunately not hurt.

I had initially decided to hibernate for the day, but instead went to the bank and to have some lunch at a nearby pub. During the day there were some sunny intervals, and this picture was taken during one of them. It remained very cold however and the pavements became increasingly treacherous.
