Dutch Mill

The weather looked very bleak today, very overcast and dark all day. Strangely despite the forecast we have not had any snow, but the snow from yesterday remains with us and the pavements remain fairly treacherous.

For the last week or so I have been going out for lunch. Today I decided to try the Dutch Mill, which is neither Dutch nor a mill. If there is a historic reason for the name I have forgotten what it is. When I took this photo the pub was fairly empty, however most of the tables were reserved and within half an hour it was busy with groups of people from local offices.

Steak pie and chips seemed like the healthy option for me, healthy as it came with carrots and peas.
