I surprised myself by staying up past midnight and I'm glad that I did as there were locally some amazing firework displays. 
Some fresh air along the lake and what a bright beautiful start to the day ... long may it continue.

Off to SAM's in a little while for my regular shift so I wont be around to comment for a while.

It is also Day 1 of Dryathlon - Diet and Exercise.
I am going to scare myself and stand on the scales as a further incentive to make it work.
