Glenstone

After getting tickets 3 months in advance, we finally went today to the newly reopened Glenstone Museum which sits on 230 acres about 3 miles from our home.  We had invited our friends to go with us. She is a retired art history teacher and an artist, and he is a retired architect, so their company truly enriched our visit.  We had been there once in 2013, before it was closed for several years for the addition of another 55,000 square feet of gallery space.  The galleries contain post World War II  modern art which is always interesting even though we don't always get it.

The grounds are expansive and have some very large, fascinating sculptures.  This is a close-up of one of them.  A full shot of it is blipped in my black and white journal HERE.   I have included an extra taken with my iphone, because they made me put my camera in a locker.  It was taken next to the pools, which are in the center of the galleries (called pavillions).
