Points!

Having just arrived at Oban in good time for the ferry, we stopped to give Little Dog a potter on the sea front. 

What should run across the road but a huge otter! 

He confidently popped his head up once he reached the water and continued to keep an eye on us from ten or so metres out until we went on our way. 

On the ferry, a family behind pointed out a sea eagle flying back towards the island. Distant but very likely. 

All too dark for a photo, though, so here's the last of the sunlight for a few days!  The wildlife points system has begun before we set foot on Mull.
