Fragile Beauty

These little winter flowering daffodils, forms of Narcisus albidus, do not always survive the winter weather well.  Although they are of similar stature, the are nothing like as robust as the snowdrops, easily battered by winds or heavy rain.  These are in a fairly sheltered raised bed which they share with a selection of easily grown alpines.

One more quiet day at home.  Admin back in full swing after a seasonal break and some much needed tidying begun.
