So... not Palmiers at all

It felt like a baking morning so I mixed up the all-in-one chocolate cake recipe I have, substituting drinking chocolate for the cocoa powder as always, and then thought I'd make some Palmiers. I'd seen Jamie Oliver do some the other day on the telly and thought they looked nice and quick to do. So I made some pastry and decided to experiment, never having made them before, with both sweet and savoury ones - just using what I had in the cupboard. They're very tasty and cheap to make, but until I googled them to check on the spelling, I hadn't realised that you don't make Palmiers with shortcrust pastry, it should be puff. Oh well, they'll get eaten and I've learned something!
