Decaying Log

I missed the best of the light in the middle of the day and by the time I was out it was cold, windy and overcast. I managed to find this moss covered log with very rich coloured wood which made a nice contrast. Lots of detail in the woodland floor add interest. Maybe a bit too tightly cropped? More room for breathing around the edge perhaps? But they always say, "fill the frame".
