The Firth of Clyde

A great day for a walk ..... although it was quite chilly there was not a breath of wind so no wind chill factor.

The water was calm as a millpond and only the ferry crossing between Largs and Millport caused a few gentle waves to break on the shore.

Spotted a red breasted merganser, a couple of eider ducks, cormorants and a heron but all were really too far away to get a good photo.
