Sgwarnog: In the Field

Pool

It was another fairly bright, breezy and chilly day but very hazy, possibly because there was a burn on the adjacent grouse moor. I headed up to the top of the moor and then back down to Glovershaw, returning via Birch Close and Sconce lanes.  There was little sign of winter bird life today other than the odd Meadow Pipit and Wren and a small flock of Goldfinch.

This is another of the dark, peaty pools that sits on the top of the moor.

Today's miles walked: 6.3. Walking total: 48.4/1000
