CELEBRATION - MM260

You mention the word celebration and a crowd of magpies gather on the balcony - only one had arrived at the time of the blip but three returned a little later in the morning.
There was much singing and fanfare from this maggie.
I do love the warble they come out with.
There was an expert on the radio the other week - magpies have their own call.  How about that.  One of the girls at the golf club feeds a crowd of them going up the second fairway except the other week she wiped one out with one of her wonderful hits.  She is still upset by it.
Thank you to Jen of jensphotos for hosting in January.
As I haven't been with you long, thank you to Paladian for initiating the challenge way back when.

It's been a day of cooking in readiness for a trip to Albany on Saturday and a visit from Sophia and her mum.

Ps. What do you call a group of magpies?
“a parliament.” The birds have earned this title from often appearing in large groups in the spring, looking stately and cawing at each other.
or
a 'tiding'.
