Basic and bright

I think that describes this quilty offering, largely pieced on long journeys to and from Orkney and now in the final stages. It will go to Project Linus alongside another journey-pieced quilt still.ti be quilted.

I optimistically believed I would finish this at the quilt group's meeting, but strange to say, more chat than stitch. Given it was a good turn out and the first of the new year I should have lowered my expectations!

Long cosy lunch at home with Dad and then housework and food prep (soup making, basically - can't be without a good home made soup at this time of year). Tonight I will get the quilt's loose ends finished off (I hope!).
