Glass (day 4)

A long time ago my son kicked a football into one of the six panes of glass in our front door and broke it. We replaced it. A few weeks later he did the same again. Since then the cracked pane has been covered with a board.
When he visited a couple of weeks ago, much older and more domesticated, he managed, somehow, to put his hand through another window. He weatherproofed it securely with layers of newspaper which to my surprise, have stood up to the rain and the floods.

Today both windows were mended. (Neither of them is this.)

Tomorrow might be a glass-free blip. I'll try.
