Loud and Proud

The Viola Arena in beautiful Cardiff Bay was rocking tonight!

The Cardiff Devils were taking on our nearest rivals, the Belfast Giants, in a top of the table clash.  It was the first game of a double header against them.  After being thrashed 8-1 at home by them last time, we owed them.

However, we were very nervous to start with and they were all over us and took an early lead.  But we recovered towards the end of the period equalised and then took control.  Going into the final period we took a 3-1 lead after a rocket by my favourite player, Gleason Fournier, this is the celebration after he scored.  But it didn't end there, Belfast got one back to make things nervy again, before we scored an open net goal.  

We go again tomorrow!
