Whizzing on by

These houses sit on a junction in Stratford and have been in need of rescue for some time.  They are at least boarded-up, so hopefully they won't become vandalised.  On closer inspection, much of the wood is rotten and in need of replacement, so they will become derelict soon if not taken on by someone. Given the current lack of affordable housing, I can't see they couldn't be refurbished and make a home for someone.

Just off to the right of the image is a crossroads on one of the main routes into the town centre, so not easy to get a clear blip in daylight.
I left the car in the frame as I think it adds to the sense of everyone whizzing on by without giving them a second thought.

My effort for this week's Derelict Sunday.  Thanks to Marlieske for hosting.
