More Feather Fascination

Dear Diary,

Our brief spell of mild temperatures, accompanied by torrential rain, is over.  Back in the deep freezer this morning.  My usually sleek mourning doves are all puffed up showing their feathers in a whole new light.  My feather fascination continues!  We are so fortunate that the rain had stopped before the temperatures plummeted so there is no ice this morning except on my driveway which is a skating rink.  I hope I can get out today!
