Playing with Water

Inspired by an article in one of the photo newsletters I subscribe to, I decided to have a go at some more water drop photography.  I don't have any fancy equipment, but normally use a hand-held pipette to form to drops.  Today I tried using a plastic bag with a hole in it, as per the article.

Somehow, nothing seemed to come together today:  the flash didn't fire, and then it needed new batteries and I couldn't remember how to to make it brighter, resulting in badly underexposed shots.  All in all, not the most successful of sessions.  Next time I'll need to re-read up on how the flash works andwhat the best settings for this type of photography are!

Still I managed to get a couple of interesting shots for my efforts.
